§ 2.5. Elective Officers.

The elective officers shall be a Mayor and six (6) Councilmembers, each of whom shall be a registered elector of the Town and shall have resided in the area comprising the Town at the time of nomination or appointment for not less than one (1) year. The Mayor shall be elected from the Town at large. If voting districts have been established pursuant to Section 2.6 of this Charter, Councilmembers from any district shall be elected in the manner provided by ordinance. Elections shall be non-partisan.
