The Town finds that the creation of an "Adopt-a-Park" program will foster civic pride, help beautify the Town and encourage greater participation in the Town's affairs. Moreover, the Adopt-a-Park program will enable volunteer groups to perform a useful community service while receiving community recognition for the group's efforts.
