§ 6.06.020. Purpose.

The purpose of this Chapter is to preserve and protect the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the Town by restricting open fires, open burning and the sale and/or use of fireworks, in the Town, in order to prevent open space, vacant land and public land fires when a high danger of such fires exists as a result of atmospheric conditions, including the lack of moisture and other local conditions in the Town.
