§ 9.05.020. Dog litter maintenance.

(a)

No dog owner or keeper shall permanently remove any healthy pup under the age of eight (8) weeks from its mother. Pups under eight (8) weeks of age shall only be separated from their mother temporarily for feeding or other care, or if they show symptoms of serious illness or injury and require veterinary treatment.

(b)

No dog kept in a residential area shall be permitted to give birth to more than one (1) litter of pups per year.
