§ 9.04.060. Disposition of unredeemed animals.

It shall be the duty of the Animal Welfare Officer to keep all animals impounded under the provisions of this Chapter for a period of six (6) days. If at the expiration of six (6) days from the date of impoundment such animal has not been redeemed, it may be destroyed or disposed of in whatever humane manner the Town sees fit. This Section does not apply to animals being held for trial.
